Liberal Girls Soccer Team Visits Hays in Regionals

The 15 seeded Liberal girls soccer team will have an uphill battle if they are to follow in the footsteps of the LHS boys in winning a state soccer championship. Liberal is 2-13-1 and plays a 13-3 second seeded Hays team Tuesday at 4 p.m. The winner plays the winner of #7 9-6-1 Andover Central against 7-9 Goddard. LHS is 0-2 against Hays this season. The Indians won the WAC at 7-1 while the Redskins finished at the bottom of the conference at 0-7-1.
