Liberal Girls Drop Soccer Opener at Garden City

The Liberal girls soccer team lost their opener on Tuesday evening. In the first athletic event of the spring, Garden City topped the Lady Red 3-1 at Buffalo Stadium. The Buffaloes led 2-0 at halftime. Arely Molina fed Nicole Catalan early in the second half to make it 2-1. Garden City scored a goal with two seconds left in the game to win 3-1. Liberal competes at Alva on Thursday.
