Liberal Girls Advance to Finals in South Titan Classic

Liberal’s girls soccer team will play for the championship of the Wichita South Titan Classic on Saturday. LHS beat Emporia 1-0 Wednesday afternoon in Wichita. Carolina Limon scored off a free kick in the second half. The well placed shot went in the top corner of the goal. LHS out shot the Spartans 7-5. Reyna Gonzalez had five saves. The 3-1 Lady Redskins will play the host Wichita South Saturday at 2 in the championship. The Titans outlasted Hutchinson 1-0 in double OT.
