LHS Volleyball Drops Two at Hutchinson

The Liberal volleyball team traveled for their second outing of the season Tuesday at Hutchinson’s Salt Hawk Activity Center. Liberal lost to the Hutchinson Salt Hawks 15-25, 8-25 and lost to the Campus Colts 12-25, 19-25. Shamari Lewis and Zoey Torres had seven kills a piece. Klaire Anderson had 15 digs. Shamari Lewis had a 2.15 passing average. LHS is 0-6 and plays Great Bend and Garden City at Garden City Thursday.
The Liberal JV picked up a win over Hutch 23-25, 25-20, 15-8. LHS JV lost to Campus 25-17, 13-25, 8-15.
