The Liberal softball team ventured to Wichita to grab two wins against City League teams on Saturday at the Two Rivers Sports Complex.  Liberal beat Wichita South 25-3 and Wichita North 5-0.

In the win over South, Zoey Torres pitched all three innings with five strikeouts and one walk.  Lizzy Mannel and Miley Janko had two hits a piece.

In the win over North, Taylor Harding pitched a four hit shutout with 10 strikeouts and two walks.  Taylor Harding, Lizzy Mannel, and Zoey Torres had two hits a piece.

Liberal is 4-5 and plays at Maize on Tuesday against Maize and McPherson.
