LHS Softball Sweeps Elkhart

Liberal’s softball team won two games over a strong but small softball program.  LHS took two at Elkhart winning 7-1 and 5-2.  In the 7-1 win, Kaeleah Chaloupek pitched all seven innings and did not allow an earned run.  Milly McClure, Chaloupek, and Lacie Lanning had two hits a piece.  Lanning homered and drove home three runs.  In the 5-2 win, McClure pitched three innings and Chaloupek went four scoreless innings.  Raegan Watt and Whitney Hay had two hits a piece.  Liberal is 8-4 and hosts Hays for senior day Tuesday at 4 at the National Beef Family Sports Complex.
