LHS Girls Show Improvement at Hutchinson

Your Lady Red Swim Team traveled to Hutchinson for the Hutch Invitational and turned in a strong performance from both veterans and new swimmers. The team’s depth in the relays and a number of personal record swims helped secure a third-place finish overall out of six teams. Sophomore Jyzelle Juarez led the team, contributing to the 400-yard freestyle relay third-place finish, while also placing fourth in the 50 freestyle, fourth in the 200 medley relay, and sixth in the 100 butterfly. The meet highlighted the team’s depth and improvement across the board, particularly in sprint events and relays, with multiple athletes posting significant time drops. The Lady Reds continue to trend in the right direction as the season progresses.
