LHS Girls Rout TMP in Hays

The Liberal girls soccer team enjoyed a 10-0 win at TMP in Hays on Thursday evening.  Nicole Catalan scored three goals and Hailey Contreras added two.  Evelin Tarango, Mayra Hernandez, Jasmin Gomez, and Aaliyah Morales added scores.  The Monarchs scored one into their own goal.

Nicole Catalan opened the scoring on a penalty kick.  Evelin Tango scored the second goal on an assist by Arely Molina.  Hailey Contreras scored on another Molina assist.  Nicole Catalan scored her second and third goals on two  Contreras assists.  Hailey Conteras scored her second goal on an assist from freshman Yvanna Rivera.  TMP then scored into their own net.  Mayra Hernandez joined the party with a goal and a third Arely Molina assist.  Jasmin Gomez scored on an assist from Yvanna Rivera.  Aaliyah Morales scored on a Jasmin Gomez assist.

LHS had 15 shots on goal and three corner kicks.

Liberal is 7-4-1 and plays at Dodge City Tuesday night at about 6:30 at Dodge City Memorial Stadium.
