LHS Girls Open Tennis Season at Towanda

Liberal’s girls tennis team opened their season at Towanda Thursday.  Here are the results:
#1 Singles–Jaciana Rivera went 1-2 on the day.
#2 Singles–Priscilla Vasquez went 2-1 finishing in 2nd Place
#1 Dbls.–Riddhi Bombaywala & Brianna Sanders went 1-2
#2 Dble.–Katie Classen & Aracely Jurado went 0-3 on the day.
Andover took 1st as a team followed by Circle High School, Liberal, and Wichita Independent

On Thursday September 3rd, the Liberal High School JV tennis team attended the ScottCity Tournament.

 

#1 Singles player, Lanee Harp (10), took 2nd place with a record of 3 – 1 for the day.

#2 Singles player, Sulen Hernandez (12), took 2nd place with a record of 3 – 1 for the day.

#1 Doubles team, Alejandra Ortega (12) and Sandy Vo (11), took 2nd place with a record of 3 – 1 for the day.

#2 Doubles team, Angelique Reever (12) and Lesly Hernandez, took 4th place with a record of 2 – 2 for the day.

 

The results were as follows:

1st Place: Garden City (52 Points)

2nd Place: Liberal (44 Points)

3rd Place: Scott City Navy (34 points)

4th Place: SC White (30 points)

5th Place: Tribune (21 Points)

6th Place: Cimarron (17 Points)

7th Place: Mixed Team (14 points)

8th Place: SC Blue (12 points)
