The Liberal softball team began Great Bend week with a humbling loss at Great Bend on Tuesday night.   Great Bend defeated the Redskins 11-0.  Liberal committed nine errors and did not have a hit.  The Panthers scored five in the first, three in the second, and three in the third.  Haiden Lyon struck out six and walked one in four innings.  Great Bend is 9-0 and 3-0 in the WAC.  Liberal is 2-4 and 0-2 in the WAC.  Liberal hosts Great Bend Thursday at 4pm at the National Beef Sports Complex.
