LHS Boys Tennis 4th in the WAC

The Liberal High School boys tennis team competed in the WAC Tennis Tournament Tuesday at Hays.  Garden City won the WAC with 13 points.  Hays and Dodge City both scored nine.  Liberal scored five and Great Bend had four points.  The Redskins doubles team both went 2-2 and took third.  The number one doubles team of Hudson Brown and Daniel Nguyen and number two doubles team of Josh Portillo and Aaron Torres both took third with 2-2 records.  Edgar Cortez won a match at number one singles.  Liberal’s 6A regional is Friday at Dodge City with Dodge City Garden City, Hutchinson, Haysville Campus HS, Wichita-Northwest, Wichita-South, and Wichita West.
