The Seward Lady Saints bounced back from their only loss with a win on Saturday. Seward blew out the Dallas Cedar Valley Lady Suns 92-40 Saturday afternoon and evening at the Caster Activities Center in Hobbs, New Mexico. All of Seward’s players got minutes in this win.
Cedar Valley jumped on Seward early taking a 7-2 lead. But SCCC recovered to lead 23-15 after one. Seward dominated the second quarter 21-6 and led 44-21 at the half. Seward led 66-26 after three.
Avery Marchino scored 24 in the win. Kimora Fagan scored 16. Destiny Alexander was Epic Touch Player of the Game with 13 points and nine rebounds. Tyniah Smith had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Dallas Cedar Valley is 2-4 and has lost four in a row. Seward is 5-1 and opens Jayhawk play Wednesday night at 6pm with Saints Shoot-around at 5:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
