The Liberal Lady Redskins opened their home season with a 62-18 win over the Wichita North Lady Redhawks Friday night in the Big House.  The game was played with a running clock in the fourth quarter.

Liberal led 12-9 after one quarter.  The teams combined for 17 first quarter turnovers.  The Lady Redskins ripped off a 17-0 run to lead 29-9.  Liberal led 34-12 at the half after a 22-3 advantage in the second quarter.  Liberal led 52-18 after three out pacing the Redhawks 18-6 in the third quarter.

Maliyah Mullens was Epic Touch Player of the Game with a career high 20 points.  Kylie Rhine added 11.  Liberal forced 21 turnovers and won despite 22 turnovers.

North is 0-4. LHS is 4-1.  Liberal hosts Hugoton Tuesday night at 6pm with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
