Huffman Tosses No Hitter in Run Rule Win

Rattler pitcher Jhett Huffman pitched a four inning no hitter as the Liberal Rattlers routed Salina 8-0 Saturday afternoon at Demon Field in Dodge City. This was part of Garden City’s tournament but played in Dodge City due to rain. Huffman struck out five and walked one in four innings. Gus Eyler, Brooks Kappelmann, and Zayden Martinez hit triples in the win. Kappelmann and Eyler had two hits a piece. Liberal is 12-5 and plays Sunday at 2:45 in Garden City against the Bombers.
