Hooker Tops Wyneewood to Advance

The Hooker Bulldog football season moves on.  Hooker defeated Wyneewood 41-32 Friday night in Hooker.  The game kicked off with temperatures in the 20’s and finished with temperatures in the teens.  Hooker trailed 20-12 at the half.  Hooker quarterback Clete Martens completed two touchdown passes to give the Bulldogs the 27-20 lead.  Wyneewood withstood a blocked punt and made a goal line stand forcing a Hooker fumble.  Wyneewood scored to make it 27-26.  Hooker scored a TD and got the two to lead 35-26.  A Fabian Castaneda rushing touchdown gave Hooker the 41-26 lead.  The Bulldogs are 9-3 and  advance to the semifinals and will play 12-0 Hominy at Alva next Friday.
