On a sunny day with temperatures in the 70’s, the Great Bend Panthers came to the National Beef Sports Complex to play the Liberal Redskins in a softball double header. Great Bend made quick work in both games winning 14-4 and 15-0. Game one was tied 4-4 after LHS scored three in the third before Great Bend broke the game open. GBHS plated five in the fourth, three in the fifth, and three in the seventh. Zoey Torres was 3-3 with two RBI’s and Taylor Harding was 2-4 with two runs. Lexi Miller hit a double and drove home two. Game two only went four innings and LHS had two hits. LHS is 2-5 and 0-3 in the WAC. The Redskins have a triangular against Wichita South and Wichita North at Three Rivers Youth Complex in Wichita on Saturday beginning at 1pm.
