The Liberal softball team hosted the Garden City Buffaloes Tuesday night at the National Beef Sports Complex.  Garden City won the game 11-2 in a game which which went all seven innings.  LHS scored one in the first, but GCHS answered with five in the second, five in the third, and one in the fourth for the 11-1 lead.  LHS scored one in the fifth.  Garden City out-hit the Redskins 11-2.  LHS committed nine errors.  Haiden Lyon scored both runs.  Devaney Carter pitched all seven innings with four strikeouts, no walks, and one earned run.  The Buffaloes are 7-8 overall and 3-0 in the WAC.  Liberal is 4-9 overall and 0-5 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at double header at Garden City Thursday at 4pm.
