The Liberal softball team played a double header at Garden City Thursday night.  Garden City won both games in a run rule in five innings 13-1 and 10-0.

In game one, GCHS scored one in the first, four in the second, three in the third, and five in the fourth.  The Buffaloes out-hit the Redskins 10-5.  LHS had six errors.  The game went five innings.

In game two, Garden scored five in the first, four in the fourth, and one in the fifth.  Garden out-hit LHS 13-2.  LHS had two errors.  Allie Champion was 2-2 in the loss.  Champion pitched 1 and 1/3 and did not allow an earned run.

Garden City improves to 9-8 overall and 5-0 in the WAC.  Liberal is 4-11 and 0-7 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Cimarron Thursday.
