Garden City Makes it a Sweep of LHS Softball

It was a tough week for LHS softball against a good Garden City team this week. After a 12-0 loss in Liberal on Tuesday, it was all GCHS Thursday in Garden City. The Buffaloes beat the Redskins 10-0 and 11-1 for the series sweep.
In game one, Garden City scored three in the first, three in the third, and four in the fourth.
Game two was scoreless until LHS scored a run in the third. But Garden answered with a three run third, a two run fourth, one in the fifth, and five in the sixth for the run rule.
Liberal falls to 5-4 and 1-4 in the WAC. LHS hosts Hugoton on Tuesday at 4pm at the National Beef Sports Complex.
