Garden City Blanks LHS Softball

The Garden City Buffaloes defeated the Liberal Redskins in a WAC softball game Tuesday afternoon 11-0 in six innings at the Tangeman Complex in Garden City.  Garden City out-hit Liberal 10-6.  LHS committed two errors and GCHS had one.  Garden scored three in the first and two in the third to take hold of the game.  They added three in the fifth and three in the sixth to end it early.  Zoey Torres was 2-3 in the loss.

Garden City is 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the WAC.  Liberal falls to 2-7 overall and 0-3 in the WAC.  Liberal hosts Garden City Thursday at 4pm for a double header at the National Beef Sports Complex for their home opener.
