Fieser Pours in 32 as Redskins Roll in Home Opener

The Liberal Redskins have already done something they didn’t do all of last year.  They won a home game.  Friday night in their home opener, the Liberal Redskins won their home opener of the Wichita North Redhawks 75-44.  James Fieser poured in 32 points.

Liberal led 13-6 and led 21-15 after one quarter.  The Skins built a 29-17 lead before North went on a 6-0 run to make it 29-23.  Liberal led 35-25 and led 37-29 at the half.  Liberal outscored the Redhawks 25-10 in the third quarter to lead 62-39 after three.

Fieser led the way with 32.  Adrian Gonzalez scored 13. Juan Diego scored 11.   Eathan Hernandez scored 10.

North falls to 0-4 and Liberal improves to 1-4.  The Redskins host Hugoton Tuesday night at 7:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
