Liberal sophomore point guard Eathan Hernandez is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Hernandez scored 29 points in a game at Lakin February 10.  Herandez is Liberal’s third leading scorer at eight points per game.  He is the second leading rebounder at five per game despite being 5’8″.  Hernandez leads the Redskins in steals (26) and assists (53).  Hernandez is also a Redskins football receiver and baseball player.  Hernandez and the Redskins host Guymon Thursday night at 7:30 on 1270 and 92.3.
