Dodge City Sweeps LHS Softball

Dodge City swept the Liberal softball team 23-0 and 16-6 Tuesday in Dodge City. In game one, Liberal struck out seven times in 10 at bats. Jordan Urban, Tierra Stoney, and AlizeTatum had hits. In game two, LHS played close early trailing 5-4. Emily Castaneda was 2-3 and Alize Tatum was 2-3. Liberal is 1-17 and 0-6 in the WAC and will host Hays Thursday at Lady Saints Field. Coach Hope Cox returned to the bench after serving a two game suspension.
