The Liberal High School softball team came out ready to play Tuesday at the Legends in Dodge City.  Exactly one week after ending a 65 game WAC losing streak on the same field, the Lady Red burst out to a 2-0 lead after one. Jaciana Rivera drove home a run.  Milly McClure and Lizzy Cisneros scored Liberal’s first inning runs.   That lead stood most of this 6A regional game before a two run sixth for the home Red Demons tied the game into the seventh.  Dodge City scored a run in the bottom of the eighth for an extra inning 3-2 win over LHS.  The Red Demons out hit the Redskins 11-1 while LHS have five errors and DCHS did not commit an error.  Liberal finishes 7-14.
