The Dodge City Red Demons finished the game on a 5-0 run to defeat the Liberal  Redskins 56-49 Thursday night in Dodge City Fieldhouse.  The Redskins cut the lead to 51-49 with 2:15 to play but did not score again.  Liberal finishes 2-20.

The Redskins took a 17-12 lead after a James Fieser dunk.  It was 17-15 LHS after one quarter.  Dodge City led 25-23 at halftime.  The Red Demons took a 32-25 lead with 5:13 to play in the third.  The Demons took a 35-25 lead before the Angry Red reeled off a 9-0 run to cut the lead to 35-34. It was 39-36 DCHS after three.  The Demons led 51-43 before a James Fieser three pointer cut the lead to 51-46 with 3:22 remaining.  A James Fieser three point play cut the lead to 51-49 with 2:15 to play.  A Dodge City 3 made it 54-49.

The Black Hills Energy Player of the Game is James Fieser with 18 points and nine rebounds in his last game.  Adrian Moreno-Gonzalez scored nine.

The Redskins shot 36 percent from the field and 3-20 from three going 4-5 from the foul line.  Dodge City shot 37 percent from the field goin 9-26 from 3 for 35 percent.  The Demons were 9-18 from the free throw line.

Dodge City improves to 11-12 overall and 2-6 in the WAC.  LHS has lost 41 straight WAC games.
