Daniel Amparan is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior track and field athlete is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Amparan was Liberal’s lone WAC champion in the WAC track meet last week at Great Bend.  He won the 4ace in 51.08.  His PR came in Goddard the week before in 50.9.  He also helped the 4×400 relay team take second at state.  He and the Redskins compete at their 6A regional meet at Garden City on Friday.  He will compete in the 400, 4×400 relay, long jump, and the 200.  He has been involved in cross country, swim, band, NHS, and Music Ensemble Club.
