The Liberal City Commission met on Tuesday evening for their regular meeting. As a part of the Consent Agenda, the City negotiated a new Lease Agreement with Max and Clay Louderback for grazing rights at Arkalon Park.

The City approved the 2026 Comprehensive Insurance Renewal, as presented by Iron Insurance Partners, and gave approval to negotiate a contract agreement with Confluence for the purpose of creating a Downtown Redevelopment Master Plan in an amount not to exceed $95,000.00.

The City Commission authorized the Liberal Mid-America Regional Airport to move forward with the security camera installation, contracted with INAalert. The initial $30,000 expenditure will be allocated from the airport’s capital equipment budget, while the remaining balance of $16,506.51 be sourced from currently under-budgeted line items within the existing fiscal year’s allocation.

Commissioners approved the quote from SHI for the ATLAS Server Hardware Project for the IT Department.
