The Canes Great Plains from the Oklahoma City area out slugged the Liberal Rattlers 20-11 Saturday afternoon at Brent Gould Field.  The game was tied 11-11 after five.

The Canes, who play the Liberal Bee Jays Saturday night, led 11-4 before the Rattlers scored two in the third, one in the fourth, and four in the fifth to tie the game 11-11.  But the Canes took hold of the game with seven in the sixth and two in the seventh.

The Canes out-hit the Rattlers 16-8.  Liberal had five errors and the Canes had one.

Bren Kappelmann and Blayden Betts had two hits a piece.  Aiden Seymour drove home four runs.  Liberal pitching walked 11.

Liberal is 3-4 and plays in the High School Sports Classic at Goddard next weekend.
