Liberal High School junior wrestler Aileen Figueroa is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  She won the “Best of the West” Tournament at Wichita West on Friday and Saturday.  She is ranked number one in 6A at 190 pounds.  She finished 3rd at state last year as a sophomore and made state as a freshman and a sophomore.  She is 17-6 this season.  Figueroa is also involved in tennis, yearbook, student council, and NHS.  She and the Redskins host #1 Garden City Tuesday night with JV beginning at 5pm in the Big House Tuesday night.
