The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening at East Campus and after the Revenue Nuetral Rate Public Hearing and approving the Consent Agenda, the Board approved the 2025-2026 School calendar.

Also approved was the renewal of Aruba support for the District’s wireless controllers and access points in the amount of $16,721.69. The Board approved the hiring of an additional paraeducator and after review accepted the quote from Keating Tractor in the amount of $14,606.67 for a new grounds mower.

The Board of Education approved the LOB Resolution 9-08-2025. The Local Option
Percentage is an amount of 32.3 percent for the 2025-2026 school year. The Board also approved the budget for the 2025-2026 school year which reflects $213,390,464 for 2025 Assessed Valuation (All funds except General), $167,452,593 for 2025 General Fund Assessed Valuation,  and $213,390,464 for 2025 Capital Outlay Assessed Valuation.
