Redskins Take 2nd at Willow Tree

The LHS  boys golf team took 2nd in their home tournament Tuesday morning and afternoon at Willow Tree with a 312. Dodge City won the tournament with a 307. Hays took 3rd with a 320, Garden City 4th 334, and Great Bend 5th 341.

Skyler Hubbard shot a season low 1 over par with a 73 to take 3rd. Kale Miller finished 6th with a 77, and Aaron Rivas 9th with an 80 (personal best). Rounding out the varsity was Landon Martinez 82, Hudson Rice 91, and Blayden Betts 93.

This rounded out our round robin for conference player of the year standings. Kale Miller finished 5th and 1st team all conference. Skyler Hubbard finished 7th and one point out of first team to get second team all conference. Landon Martin and Aron Rivas also made a late push for second team. 

The Redskins go to Dodge next Monday for regionals and looking to get the team into state with a good day.
