Construction of Dodge City casino hotel accelerated

Construction of a hotel at the Dodge City casino will begin immediately, sooner than originally approved.

Boot Hill Casino & Resort plans a first class hotel, to be operated by Vista Host. The hotel will operate under a Marriott or Hilton name.

The Boothill Casino opened in December 2009 and is a development project of Butler National located near the Mariah Center on U.S. Hwy 50 on the west side of Dodge City. A planned 400 acre shopping, restaurant, residential and entertainment venue is the vision fulfilling the vision of Dodge City becoming THE entertainment and retail center of Western Kansas.
