Redskins Roll Past Great Bend in Opener

The Liberal soccer team “mercy ruled” the Great Bend Panthers Thursday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  The Redskins won 10-0 in their opener.  Suain Moncayo scored three goals with three assists.  Erick Garcia had two goals and one assist.  Johnny Young scored two goals.  Geizi Gonzalez, Jaimie Arenivas, and Aron Duque scored one goal a piece.  Seth Michel pitched in two assists and Gio Reyes had one assist.  The Panthers did not attempt a shot the entire game.  Great Bend played a man down due to a red card after a player threw a punch/slap early in the game.    The Redskins play at Wichita South Monday.

 

The LHS JV won 4-0 over Great Bend.
