Rattlers Head North to Nebraska

The Liberal Rattlers played in western Nebraska on Saturday and Sunday.  The Rattlers played Saturday in Chappell, Nebraska.  They led Garden City 6-0 before rain postponed the rest of the game.  Liberal then beat Buckley 8-0.  Sunday morning in Sidney, Nebraska, the Rattlers rallied past  the Buckley Bombers 5-4.

Saturday, Brooks Kappelmann struck out 12 and picked up the win on the mound.  Kappelmann also hit a home run.    Erek Lira homered for the Rattlers.  On Sunday, Cade Thomas was the winning pitcher.

The Rattlers are 7-2.
