M.J. Foster is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior runner M.J. Foster is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Foster was on the 4×400 and 4×800 regional relay teams which won the regional Friday in Garden City.  He also made state in the 800.  Foster teamed with Daniel Amparan, Cesar Pavia, and Izzy Rotolo to win the 4×400 in 3:24.31 and teamed with Alex Koerner, Emmanuel Ortuno, and Cesar Pavia in the 4×800 in 8:10.67.  He was 4th in the 800 at 2:00.10.  Foster set the school record in the state cross country meet this fall in 16:10.  He has participated in cross country, swimming, track, FCA, and NHS.  Foster and the Redskins compete at 6A state at Cessna Stadium in Wichita Friday and Saturday.
