Liberal Volleyball Hosts 6A Sub State

The 25-8 Liberal High School volleyball team is a three seed and will host a four team class 6A sub state Saturday in the Big House.  Liberal won the WAC in the Big House on Saturday and improves to 11-0 at home.  Liberal is 25-8 and the three seed and hosts the 14 seed 8-24 Topeka Trojans at 2pm.  After that match, the (6) seed 16-13 Wichita North plays the (11) seed 11-21 Campus.  The winners meet in the championship.  There will be a 20 minute warmup before every match.  Tickets are 8 dollars for adults and 6 dollars for K-12 students.  This is the first time Liberal has hosted sub state since 2013.  Last year, Liberal went to Wichita Northwest and topped Manhattan but lost to Northwest in the championship.
