UPDATE: Grass Fire Seward County

Seward County Fire Department was dispatched at 4:34pm on Sunday 08-04-19 to a grass fire along Hwy 83 just south of Hwy 51. Units arrived on scene to find less then 1/2 acre of natural vegetation burning in the west ditch. The department responded with 2 engines, 2 brush trucks, and 1 water tanker with a total off 11 personnel. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
