Liberal Blanks Wichita West to be 1-1 in North Cup

The Liberal girls soccer team is 1-1 at the Wichita North Cup. After a 7-0 loss to Wichita North on Monday, Liberal bounced back on Thursday beating Wichita West 2-0. Stefany Ortuno scored both goals. Kim Alarcon and Gisselle Melendez assisted the two goals. LHS is 6-6-1 on the season and will play Wichita Trinity Saturday at noon in Wichita.
