Middle School Results

Tuesday our varsity team traveled to Guymon to compete on a tough hilly
course, with a gut check finish!

We took 8 to our 8th grade girls and they placed second by just 5 points.
Medalists for the team were: Lexi Franz 15th, Ashlynd Winchell 14th, and
Hallie West in 11th.

Our boys were a combination of seventh and eighth graders and they proved
to be dominant. Eight of our runners brought home medals! Including: Hudson
Brown 17th, Ellian Laguna 14th, Daniel Amparan 13th, Daniel Pavia 12th,
Angel Real 11th, Anthony Castijella 9th, David Villa 8th, and Gideon Wright
finished 6th. This boys team now holds the meet record for this meet with a
team average for the 2 mile 12:16!

Next up, the Warriors will travel to Dodge City on Tuesday.

Monday Volleyball

The Seymour Rogers Apache 8th grade volleyball team traveled across town to
play a WAC triangular with Hays and Great Bend.
A team could not stay up with Hays and lost 13-25,9-25, but got a MSWAC win
against Great Bend 19-25,25-22,15-11.

The Apaches are 6-6 on the season , 3-3 in league play.

The b team lost to Hays 8-25,7-25 but bounced back and beat Great Bend
27-25,28-26.
The b team record is 3-9 and 2-4 in league
