Wynn Moves to Top 5 with Win at Neosho

Toby Wynn has been at this for 13 years. Saturday, the Lady Saint head coach moved into rarified air. Wynn notched his 327th win passing former Cowley coach Linda Hargrove for 5th in KJCCC history. Seward beat Neosho 89-70 Saturday afternoon at Panther Gym in Chanute.

Mollie Mounsey led Seward with 35 points. Silvia Veloso scored 11 and Carla Covane had 10.  The #16 Lady Saints led 46-31 at halftime. They shot 53 percent and Neosho shot 48 percent. Neosho made 10-16 three pointers but had 32 turnovers.  Seward is 31-1 against Neosho.

Seward is 9-2 overall and 7-2 in the Jayhawk. Neosho is 2-7 in the Jayhawk. Seward plays Scottsdale and Mesa in Arizona December 28 and 29.
