Brock Kappelmann - October 16, 2017 7:01 am

It’s not a WAC win, but it was satisfying for LHS soccer.  After two regular season losses to the rival Garden City Buffaloes, the Redskin soccer  team knocked off the Buffaloes 3-1 Saturday morning at Buffalo Stadium in the final game of the Wichita North Cup.  Aaron Esparza scored the first goal and was assisted by Mike Fonseca.  Fonseca then scored on a PK.  Alfredo Moncayo scored and was assisted by Christian Fonseca.  Liberal continues their resurgent play and improve to 4-10 and have won three of their last four games.  LHS plays at Great Bend on Monday.
