LHS Spikers Take Two at Home

It was a huge step forward for that young LHS volleyball team on Tuesday.  Liberal won both of their home matches in three sets over Ulysses and Borger in the Big House.  LHS defeated Borger 25-27, 25-20, 25-19.  The Redskins knocked off Ulysses 25-21, 21-25, 25-20.  Machia Mullens had 22 kills and Reagan Watt added 15.  KT Polvon passed 2.1 % vs Ulysses and had 23 digs on the night.  Haylee Parker passed 2.5 % vs. Ulysses and had 22 digs on the evening.  Whitney Hay passed 2.3 %vs. Borger and had 24 digs on the day.  Liberal is 6-8 and hosts their tournament in the Big House Saturday.  The participating teams are: Colby, Dodge City, Hugoton, Meade, Pratt, Southwestern Heights, and Wichita Southeast.  The tournament begins Saturday morning at 8:30 in the Big House.
