Evans Homers as Rattlers Sweep Dodge City

Liberal won both ends of a double header with Dodge City Wednesday evening at the National Beef Family Sports Complex.  The 18 U Rattlers won 8-3 and 10-1 in the opener.

In game one, Liberal scored in each of the first four innings.  They scored two in the first, one in the second, four in the third, and one in the fourth.  Cole Evans doubled and Cesar Burciaga tripled in the win.  Evans pitched two innings.  Braxton Hyde went one scoreless before Tucker Deaton logged two scoreless innings and Woelfle went two scoreless.

In game two, Liberal plated five in the first and five in the fourth.  Evans homered in the win and Alex Yanez added a double.  Yanez was 2-2 and Elijah McCarter was 2-3.  Kaleb Wilmes went four strong innings for the win.  Hyde pitched one scoreless.
