Riley Wins Garden City

Brock Kappelmann - May 5, 2017 6:23 pm

Cameron Riley wins another thrilling playoff to take the Garden City Invitational. After finishing his round with two birdies, Riley forced the playoff with Garden City’s Taylor Larsen. Both boys made par on number one of the playoff holes, but the match was decided on hole two when Riley shot another par and Larsen bogeyed. The boys will get a rematch next Tuesday when the WAC teams come to Liberal. Other scorers for Liberal were Sean Titus at 80 and Alex Carrasco at 88. Garden City won the tournament with a 302.
