Liberal Girls Meet their Match in OKC

The fifth ranked team in 4A Oklahoma handed LHS their first defeat Tuesday night.  Northwest Classen is 12-0 after topping Liberal 58-40 in Oklahoma City.  Classen led 11-1 after one quarter before the Lady Redskins rallied to trail just 25-21 at the half.  The Lady Redskins had a tough shooting night going 13-25 from the foul line and 1-7 from the three point line.  Jada Mickens scored 13 and had 10 rebounds.  Whitney Hay scored seven and Katie Horyna dropped in six.  Liberal is 5-1 and hosts 4-1 Hays in the WAC opener Friday night at 6 with Redskin Pregame at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
