Redskins Dominate in Hays

Liberal’s soccer team beat Hays 5-1 in Hays Thursday afternoon.  LHS sweeps the season series with the Indians. The first goal was scored in the 32nd minute by Pablo Marquez and assisted by Brian Alvarez.  The second goal was in the 11th minute by Brian Alvarez and assisted by Mike Fonseca.  The third goal was at the 2:41 mark by Mike Fonseca and assisted by Levi Flores.  The fourth goal was scored by Mike Fonseca and was unassisted.  The fifth goal came at the :33 mark as Elmer Rivera scored and was assisted by Robert Campos.  Liberal is 7-4 and 5-1 in the WAC.  Monday the Redskins begin play in the Wichita North Cup.
