Stoney Stands Tall in McPherson

Brock Kappelmann - October 3, 2016 6:25 am

The Lady Redskins competed against some of the toughest teams in Kansas
including girls from McPherson, Derby, Campus, Elyria, Garden City, Hays,
Great Bend, Hutchinson, Newton, and Salina South. Senior Tierra Stoney
improved her chances at a high seed at Regionals by defeating competitors
from Campus, McPherson, and Derby. Her only loss was to Salina South 8-6.
Stoney went 3-1 on the day with a season record of 26-4. The rest of the
team gained valuable experience but failed to win a match. The Lady Skins
compete in our WAC tournament Monday at 10 a.m.
