Redskins Kick Past Garden City

Liberal’s soccer team gained a big 3-2 win over Garden City Thursday evening at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Liberal’s Mike Fonseca scored two goals and Ismael Guzman added a goal.  Liberal built a 3-1 lead after the Buffaloes and Redskins were tied 1-1 at the half.  Liberal is 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Thomas Moore Prep in Hays Thursday.
