Tyrone Should be Tough in 2016

Brock Kappelmann - August 16, 2016 2:00 pm

imageIt was a positive sign.  With nothing on the line, the 2015 Tyrone Bobcats went to Sharon Mutual to conclude their season.  Sharon had a playoff game on the line and Tyrone was playing for pride.  The Bobcats won the game 32-22 and that set the wheels into motion for a promising 2016 campaign.  The Class C Cats have 20 out for football and have seven starters back on both sides of the ball.  Fourteenth year head coach Josh Bell is hoping to guide a team to the playoffs for the first time since Bell played back in 1996.  Key Bobcats include Sr. TE/DE Willie Slater, Sr. QB/CB Tanner Hurst, Sr. RB/LB Josh Bean moves in from Perryton, Sr. G/NG Adam Deleon, Sr. G/DE Auston Olson, Jr. RB/LB Jonathan Corrales, Jr. WR/CB Brian Holly, Jr. WR/S Adrian Lopez, and So. RB/CB  Antonio Pacheco.  Tyrone was featured during the Sportsguys Tuesday morning.
