Garden City Blanks LHS

KSCB News - April 12, 2016 7:09 am

Carlos Ruiz is pleased with his team’s effort. Despite a 1-0 loss at home to Garden City Monday night at Redskin Field, Liberal’s head coach says his team played hard for all 80 minutes. Garden City (4-2, 2-0) scored a goal with 35 minutes left into the south goal. The game was played with a few sprinkles, very little wind, and on a wet Redskin Field after a full day of rain. Liberal falls to 3-5 and 0-4 in the WAC after their third straight loss. They don’t play at home again until May 12. LHS plays at Great Bend Thursday. The Panthers beat the Redskins 1-0 Tuesday at Redskin Field.
